Ainda em 2021, o turismo e empresas que sobrevivem do turismo na cidade, sofrem bastante com as consequências de mais de um ano parado, e tentam se reorganizar para não fechar definitivamente as portas. Os Shows da Broadway estão totalmente fechados desde de Marco 2020, e a partir de Setembro de 2021, gradativamente, irão retornar as atividades.

Alguns shows decidiram fechar definitivamente em 2020 e os que continuam seguem regras rigorosas para reabertura. Muitos shows da Broadway retiraram o intervalo para evitar aglomerações nos corredores do teatro. Mascaras são obrigatórias durante todo o tempo do espetáculo e será necessário a comprovação de vacinação, segunda dose com mais de 15 dias, para ser admitido ao teatro; caso contrario você não entrara para assistir aos show.

New York, like all tourist places in the world, was hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.
